Economic Development
Chair Lee Rafferty
Help strengthen Downtown’s economic base while expanding and diversifying its businesses. This committee is forming a Retail Strategy that includes business retention and recruitment, improving the downtown infrastructure, and crafting an authentic message to relay the downtown experience.
Executive Committee
Chair Linda Glover
The Executive Committee is made up of the officers of the Board of Directors. They meet monthly to discuss VDA’s budget and other administrative activities that keep VDA running smoothly.
Design
Chair Stephanie Diaz
Capitalizing on its best assets, the Design Committee is constantly seeking ways to improve downtown infrastructure. Most recently the Design Committee oversaw the installation of 30 trees on Main Street. Each year it installs 250 flower baskets throughout downtown and sponsors an annual Spring Clean Up. Donate to the flower basket program now and keep the love alive!
Promotions
Chair KC Fuller
Through an effective promotions strategy, this committee is successfully marketing Downtown’s unique characteristics. It sponsors the monthly First Friday Art Walk, creates the Downtown Walking Map and much more.
